Mountain West Financial, Inc. Announces Ed Adams As New Senior Vice President of Retail Production

Mountain West Financial, Inc. announced that Ed Adams has accepted the position of Senior Vice President of Retail Production. “MWF is proud to announce Ed Adams as the most recent addition to our Leadership Team.  Ed bring over 30 years of origination, management, and leadership experience to our team.  He responsibilities include assisting all aspects of our Retail Channel.  We are excited to see the new tools and ideas he brings to this incredible group of high performers,” said Gary Martell Jr., President of Mountain West Financial, Inc. Ed brings 32 years of retail mortgage banking experience to his new position where he will direct and expand the company’s retail mortgage lending efforts across the existing footprint and expand into new areas of opportunity. “Mountain West is a highly regarded Mortgage institution with 29 years of experience and a strong retail and wholesale presence. I am eager to be part of this leadership team and excited to support the commitment to homeownership in the communities we serve. Adams most recently served as the Director of Retail mortgage for BOK Financial, a financial institution with over $40B in assets. Prior to BOK Financial, Adams served as SVP of US Bank in the Southwest markets, Executive Vice President at Downey Savings and Loan, managing Wholesale and Retail delivery channels, and as a Division Manager at Wachovia Bank/World Savings. Adams also was active with affordable housing initiatives during his 20 years in Southern California. He has served on the executive committee for NeighborWorks of Orange County and on the Corporate Board of Governors as a member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. Ed attended college at Oklahoma State University before transferring to University of La Verne in La Verne, California where he received a Bachelor of Business Management degree. Ed and his wife, Lori, will be based in Southern California. They have two daughters, Dani and Sierra; son in-laws, Bryson and Michael; and three grandbabies. Ed is an avid woodworker and enjoys making guitars and furniture in his spare time.
